Replacing empty cartridges : carry out this operation in a well ventilated place, away from sources of ignition. Close the valve on the appliance. Shake the cartridge to ensure that it is empty. Completely unscrew the upper section or the base of the appliance. Fit the cartridge into the support, then screw the upper section or the base back on.
